How to organize a small RV camper

A clean camper is an organized camper. And when you are going from a 1700 square foot house into a tiny home of 172 square feet, being organized is essential to the camper feeling clean and not chaotic! We have a Forest River 178 BHSK that we pull with our Jeep Gladiator. Learning how to organize a small RV camper was crucial for our sanity!

We travel in our Jeep Gladiator a lot. Our traveling vehicle and camper don’t have a lot of room. So we are becoming organizing experts for traveling small.

Utilize empty wall space

Adhesive will be a game changer! You can hang almost anything on the walls with this stuff. Command hooks can hang towels, keys, baskets, hats, belts, jackets, you name it. Amazon sells adhesive wall baskets that we have all in our camper. I think we only hung 2 items that we actually used screws. TV wall mount and a key rack, everything else… is hung by adhesive!

Utilize deep cabinets

Campers try to give you as much storage as possible. But sometimes it appears that it is an unusable space. Like the extra deep closet that is 1 foot wide and 6 feet deep. How in the world am I going to use that space?? This is where we get creative and use shelving and oddly shaped plastic containers or laundry baskets.
